Nick Johnson was appointed joint Executive Director of The Performing Arts Center of Rapid City and Black Hills Community Theatre in April 2014. He has performing arts leadership experience from the Chicago Symphony, Northwestern University and the Grand Teton Music Festival and recently led Sheridan, Wyoming’s WYO Theater’s through a $5 million capital facility project. He has a background in music and a Master’s degree in music from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
Denae graduated from Rapid City Central High School in 1999 and recently came back to Rapid City after living for several years in Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and New York.
She has attended several colleges including the Minnesota School of Business, South Dakota State University, and The Art Institutes International where she excelled in courses geared toward Graphic Design and Art History.
She has been working as the Box Office Manager since August 2015 and recently accepted the Events Coordinator Position.
Rebecca began her relationship with the Performing Arts community in Rapid City in 2000 as a volunteer with Black Hills Community Theatre.
Rebecca has been involved with theatre and performing since she was crowned queen of Lamb Park in Moorhead, MN, when she was just a tot. Past stage appearances have taken her from Augustana College, where she earned a BA in Business Administration, to Fort Campbell, KY, where she was a founding member of the Ft. Campbell Prime Time Players, and various duty stations in between as she accompanied her husband, Randy, on an adventurous 20+ years of active duty with the US Army.
