Get ready to shine, sugar, our annual Pop-Up Party is back, and this year we’re turning up the twang and the sparkle. Pull on your boots, grab your rhinestones, and saddle up for a night of creativity, community, and cowboy chic.

Proceeds from this event support the Performing Arts Center of Rapid City and its coalition members; including Black Hills Community Theatre, Black Hills Symphony Orchestra, Rapid City Children’s Chorus, and more. When you show up in your finest fringe or sequined bolo tie, you’re not just having a good time—you’re keeping the performing arts alive and thriving in our community.

Buy your tickets.
Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased online or by calling our box office.
Plan your picnic.
Design your own table decorations and themed picnic dinner to match this year’s Rhinestone Cowboy theme. Think glitz, grit, glitter, denim, and wild west flair.
Get your table together.
Want to sit with friends? Let us know! Tables seat 8. If you don’t have a group, don’t worry. We’ll seat you with some friendly faces.

What is a Pop-Up Party?

The Pop-Up Party is the Performing Arts Center’s signature summer fundraiser and one of the most creative nights of the year. Each summer, we pick a new theme and a new surprise location somewhere in or around Rapid City.

We provide the tent, the tables, and the chairs.
You bring the dinner, the flair, and the fun.

Every ticket includes:

A seat at the table (we’ll save you a spot!)
A commemorative wine glass
A full bottle of wine
And access to one unforgettable evening
