BHCT’s Discover Series Presents:
Fefu and Her Friends
by María Irene Fornés
Directed by Lynne Mazzone
February 12, 7pm Performing Arts Center (or at the Valentine McGillicuddy House)
A unique theatrical experience, Fefu and Her Friends splits the audience into four groups for the second act. As each group travels from scene to scene, they witness the unfolding story in a different order, changing their interpretation of events. Meanwhile the actors face the supreme challenge of acting four scenes simultaneously four times in a row and never missing an entrance. A story about the relationships of eight women gathered to plan a charity event becomes something strange and unsettling as each audience member interprets motives and reality for themselves.
