IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Important Announcement from Michael Kraklio, Managing Artistic Director of Black Hills Community Theatre:

Sunday evening’s performance, (October 6th, 2013), has been cancelled. There have been numerous factors to consider from the safety of our cast, crew, and musicians, many that are still stranded, as well as the safety of our dear patrons. Many streets are still not passable due to downed trees, power lines, and abandoned cars. This impedes snow removal efforts. There have also been continuing dialogues with the Rapid City School District, Performing Arts Center management, and City officials. The Black Hills Community Theatre will NOT put anyone in danger, nor will we impede rescue and clean-up efforts. I’m certain we all stand united on that.

But, my dear, dear family. I have found a glistening silver cloud. I am overwhelmed and overjoyed to announce the “THE SHOW WILL GO ON!” It has been verified that we can perform the show this coming MONDAY and TUESDAY evenings at 7:30pm. Please make yourselves available. If you cannot make MONDAY or TUESDAY work, or both, please contact me asap. (415-2518) And this is how the evenings will work: Any Patrons holding tickets, (including those with tickets at Will Call), will be honored for these two performances. They must bring their tickets. It will be general seating, first come-first served. Reserved seating has been thrown out. People can sit anywhere they desire. It will not matter that their tickets have seat numbers on them. The shows will also be open to the public without tickets. They can purchase them at the Box Office beginning at 6:00pm both evenings. NO RESERVATIONS will be taken. Those ticket holders that are not available to attend will be refunded after Tuesday evening. Reminder: They must bring their tickets to get in, or they will have to pay again.

My friends, we will fill those performances to capacity! And we will sing again! My personal thanks to each and every one of you for your patience, your stress, and your fighting nature. Stay safe and warm today, hug your loved ones. The French shall rise Monday and Tuesday!

Please share this message with as many people as you can. Many of us have people in our own friend’s list who are ticket holders! We can do this. My team and staff are making official announcements everywhere. But I need you to help spread the word.

I love you all!! (please call me with any questions – 605/415-2518.)

THEY WILL HEAR THE PEOPLE SING!!!
