T.R.A.S.H.–Beat the Blahs

T.R.A.S.H.–or Truly Rational And Sane Humans– is a group of wacky women.  Some are married to doctors and some are not, but all are dedicated to helping audiences look for funny stuff in this crazy world and their lives in general.  They have always believed that laughter is the best medicine and necessary to good health, healing and happiness.  Now, all across the nation, studies are showing  that laughter IS an essential aspect to good health.  Some health clubs even have classes that offer an hour of laughing.  Could this be more healthy than running on a treadmill??

T.R.A.S.H. has entertained for charity fund raisers and causes as varied as The American Cancer Society to National Guard units serving in Iraq.  They have donated performances to communities dealing with devastating floods in North Dakota and Relay for Life,  and have also donated to the American Red Cross after Hurricane Katrina.

Please join T.R.A.S.H. for one (or both) performances on Feb 1, 2014, to laugh away the winter blues in the Studio Theater of the Performing Arts Center of Rapid City.  Tickets are $25 per person with performances at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm.  This 30th anniversary event, celebrating a casual evening with T.R.A.S.H., will not only “Beat the Blahs” but will benefit Feeding South Dakota.

Seating is reserved and tickets can be purchased from the Performing Arts Center box office by calling (605) 394-1786 between 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday, or online anytime at www.performingartsrc.org.  If visiting in person, please use the South street entrance.
